Salesforce - Creating/Linking Opportunities In Proposify (Basic and Premium)

Create a New Salesforce Opportunity from Proposify

Proposify's integration with Salesforce is perfect for keeping your sales team on-track. It works in the background so you can send proposals in Proposify and track your progress in Salesforce. We can even do all the redundant work of creating a Salesforce opportunity straight from the proposal.

To create a new deal from Proposify, click the “+proposal” button from the pipeline page:

From there, choose a template by hovering over it and clicking “use this”.

After that, we'll take you to the proposal’s settings page. From here you can name your proposal, provide a due date, select a client, and assign a proposal lead. A new dropdown will appear underneath those options:

Set the dropdown to “create a new opportunity” and click “next step”. You’re all set!

If you’d like to create a new opportunity for an existing proposal, you can do so from the proposal’s settings page. You can get to the proposal settings from the snapshot. Click the notepad icon next to the “settings” column:

From there, you’ll see the same Salesforce dropdown, where you can create a new opportunity:

If you’re more comfortable doing all the work in Salesforce and would like us to update the opportunity, we can do that too. To link to an existing opportunity, click the “+proposal” button from the pipeline page:

From there, choose a template by hovering over it and clicking “use this”.

After that, we'll take you to the proposal’s settings page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the Salesforce Opportunity dropdown:

Click that dropdown and all your active Salesforce opportunities will appear. Click on the one you would like to use:

Once you’ve selected your opportunity to link to, click the “update proposal settings” button and all of your opportunity data (client, due date, proposal name) will be pushed to Proposify!

You’re all set! Your opportunity is now linked to this proposal!
